Sorry about the lack of posts lately. We've been busy! Luke figured out how to climb up on his chairs. He also figured out how to use this skill to help him climb up on the table and onto the window sill. Unfortunately the first time he tried this he fell head first off of the table! Needless to say the chairs and the table are experiencing a temporary separation. :-) (Luke is fine, not even a bump!)

He also loves this kitchen cabinet. Previously home to our vases and pitchers. Now empty for Luke's amusement and safety. This was the first day he found it. Now he crawls in and says "stuck"! (These were different days- just the same outfit!)

In other exciting Luke news.... He's successfully using a soon, sometimes! He's so proud. I'm happy that he didn't throw the bowl or turn it upside down, over his head like he had done in previous spoon feeding attempts.

Have I told you that he's walking like crazy now?! He still likes to crawl if he's in a hurry, but he's getting quite mobile. Perhaps my favorite is the ever expanding vocabulary list:
baby
ball
shoe
socks
dog (sound more like
da)
dad (also still sounds like
da, but different intonation then the
da for dog)
stuck
what's dis?
mom
up
please (comes out: peas and he only uses it with "up")
no
yep/yea
sit (or maybe shit- we'll say it's sit)
Then there are his few favorites we are still trying to figure out:
ah
dee too
oat
ah
deseNext week is his 15 month check up so I'll update his stats then.
